BS Mustard sauce

  • 1 c. yellow mustard

  • 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 c. red wine vinegar

  • 1/2 c. raw sugar

  • 1/3 c. clover honey

  • 1/4 c. light brown sugar

  • 1 tbl. chili powder

  • 1 tsp. black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt

  • 1 tbl. butter


Place all ingredients in saucepan except for the butter over meidum heat and stir until combined. Add butter when the mixture is warm enough to melt butter. Simmer 10 minutes.

chicken ala king

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • small can of condensed cream of chicken soup

  • small can of peas

  • toast or biscuits

Cook chiken breast. When cooked, add soup and peas and leave until warmed.


horseradish cheddar and cream cheese spread

  • 15 oz. Velveeta, original

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese

  • 4 oz. Mayonnaise

  • 3 tbl. Extra Hot Horseradish

Soften Velveeta and cream cheese. Combine cheeses and mayonnaise. When combined beat in horseradish.

cranberry sauce

  • 12 0z. whole cranberries (from the produce department, not in the can ... you'd be missing the point)

  • 1 oz. raisins

  • 1 c. water

  • 1 c. sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. allspice

  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Bring a whole sauce pan of water to a boil. When boiling carefully measure 1 cup and discard remaining water, Add water back to saucepan and add sugar, Stir until sugar is disolved and the liquid is clear (by the way this is actually now three cups of simple syrup).

Wait until the simple syrup returns to a boil then add the cranberries. When the cranberries burst (you will see and hear it) a foam will develop in the mixutre, Reduce heat to a simmer and stir often. After 10 minutes, remove from the heat and add the spices and stir in the raisins.

Thank you to Annemarie for suggesting that I reduce the amount of spices.

Lemonade

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 cups hot water

  • 2 cups lemon juice

  • 2 quarts cold water

Add hot water and sugar and stir until clear. Add cold water and lemon juice then stir and chill.



SIRACHA HONEY DIP

  • 20 oz. cream cheese, softened

  • 8 oz. raw honey

  • 2 oz. siracha hot sauce

  • 3 Tbl. Miracle Whip

Combine with hand mixer.

MEAT LOAF

  • 2# ground turkey

  • 1 # hamburger 80/20

  • 6 oz. oatmeal

  • 10 shakes of salt and some pepper

  • 1/4 c. ketchup

  • 1 tbl. yellow mustard

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 c. milk

Combine ingredients.

Cook at 350 for 40 min. (until internal temperature of 160)




PARMESEAN CREAM CHEESE SPREAD

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened

  • 4 oz. parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 c. parsley

  • 2 tbl. mayonnaise

Combine above ingredients




UNCLE STEVE'S SWEET 'N' ZESTY BBQ SAUCE

  • 8 oz. Tomato Sauce

  • 6 oz. Tomato Paste

  • 1/4 c. each of:

    • garlic powder

    • onion powder

    • cinnamon

    • ground white pepper

    • celery salt

    • mustard powder

  • 1# dark brown sugar

  • 3/8 c. clover honey

  • 5/8 c. apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 c. Each of

    • soy sauce

    • red wine vinegar

    • lime juice

  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper


Combine ingredients over heat and simmer until reduced to proper consistency
